Certifications
Silmet S.r.l. has undergone assessment by BUREAU VERITAS, an independent body accredited and recognised throughout Europe, in order to obtain UNI EN ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management System). All the welders in the Silmet S.r.l. workforce hold a welding certificate in compliance with UNI-EN ISO 9606-1:2017.
The company employs specialist staff capable of carrying out non-destructive testing on welds in compliance with UNI EN 473 and ISO 9712 standards; these staff members hold certificates issued by an accredited body and by another organisation recognised and accredited like “BUREAU VERITAS” (world leader in inspection, compliance testing and certification) for UNI EN ISO 3834-2 for the welding process management system.
