L’Ufficio tecnico dispone di strumenti all’avanguardia per poter studiare ed arrivare sempre alla soluzione migliore per la realizzazione del prodotto finito. Inoltre è in grado di progettare qualsiasi tipo di attrezzatura e mascheraggio per agevolare al massimo l’industrializzazione del prodotto. La costante collaborazione tra Ufficio Tecnico e reparti produttivi permette di facilitare il ciclo di lavoro.

With the support of the Technical Department, our skilled metalworkers of this unit, are able to develop all kinds of equipment and jigs, regardless the level of difficulty, with the aim of improving the production process and complying with the tolerances specified in the drawings.

Quality control
All finished products are subject to inspection. Qualified staff carry out a final inspection on every single component.
Silmet S.r.l. also employs two in-house operators qualified in Non-Destructive Testing using the level 2 VT (Visual Testing) and level 2 MP (Magnetic Particle Testing) methods in compliance with UNI 473 and ISO 9712, who, if requested by the customer, check the conformity of the welds. A well-established system of instructions relating to the weld inspection procedure ensures a high level of product quality.

If requested by the customer, Silmet S.r.l. can offer a wide range of surface treatments, such as:
1) Sandblasting;
2) Electrophoretic coating, powder or liquid paint in RAL colours or custom finishes upon request;
3) Hot-dip galvanising.
Whether for painting or hot-dip galvanizing we follow all client-provided specifications and technical documentation. We use certified, high-quality products to ensure both the requested standards and long-lasting protection.

Finished product construction
The construction of the finished product begins with the manufacture of all the sub-assemblies, which are subsequently assembled using the main final welding equipment.
The components can be welded manually by certified personnel or by automatic welding robots.
